The fact it required until Sunday's victory by three wickets over India for them to complete their first ODI chase over 300, regaining their record for the highest in the women's 50-over format, is, honestly, a tribute to the pitchers that have sported the yellow jersey over five decades.

By the time she was dismissed Australia required another 66 at one run per ball - an unconquered height now needing a comfortable finish.

"Pursuing 330 is uncharted waters so I'm pleased we have the confidence to do that now," stated Healy further.

"Hopefully we don't have to do it again but, if necessary, we are confident we can do it."

Those words will be the ultimate thing competing nations at this championship want to hear.

During the last week a belief they will win from any position has become more firm - this triumph coming after win against Pakistan by 107 run margin despite being 76-7 at a certain moment.

Next Australia play Bangladesh before an encounter with traditional opponents England in Indore in 10 days, by which point a semi-final berth may well be secure.
